I Am From Poem

I Am From

I am from the stench of nail polish. From the remote to the TV.

I am from the bricks holding up the the sides of my house.

I am from the smell of fish. From the strong smell of salt and vinegar chips.

I am from good food.

I am from going up to my Grammy’s house on every Sunday night and the loud noises on every other Friday night from my mom’s friends.

I am from my mom saying, “Goodnight” and “Bye!”

I am from Boscawen, New Hampshire.
